Hi, recently the green led on my box is blinking a lot, and today I notice that the green led is on, but the box shows offline...?

rebooting the box from within the UI was not possible, so had to press the reset button. Now it shows online again.

I had a similar issue yesterday and most of today. Green light blinking for some time, and then solid green light. With my Zipabox offline. Internet connection was working properly and DHCP as well. I verified this on multiple other devices. I decided not to touch the Zipabox and see if it would get back online on its own. And it did. So no action taken. But I had no connectivity with the box for about 22 hours.

Offline also for my Zipabox ... My home network works fine, because i can reach an IP camera (not connected to the Zipabox)

Question to Zipato team :

-Is this issue in the Zipabox side ?

-Is this issue in the zipato server side ?

This night and Tuesday the same for me. Box was offline and only by restart there was a connection possible.

Zipabox still offline, and nothing works ...

My remote control does not work (usually used to switch on/off my lights

Zipato team, do you have definitiv solution (instead of rebooting the Zipabox) ?

My box is now offline as well. Since some lights are set to fail ON mode this is rather anoying since it seems like the box is also resetting itself and generating an ON commando.

I have the same problem. I think that it would be smart of zipato to give us some information about this problem.

Is it going to be solved or is it a problem that will remain. I think many of us are looking on other controllers now. I know I am. Hope they will solve it, because I like the idea of zipabox.

Ok, sorry, my issue was related to the firewall settings. What are the ports needed for the Zipato to connect to the cloud server?

Box is again offline. After restart it was online for ca. 30 min. Then offline again. Asked for a ticket.

Any news about this issue? I have read in another forum that some have had their zipabox duo switched to a zipabox and an external 433MHz module . And after this it has worked well again. I have asked about this in my ticket but I have not got an answer about this. Is this a general solution or does this only work for a few users. Its getting really annoying now because the box also gets very slow in a way that I have not experienced before.

my box has an external 433MHz module, so it seems it doesn't make a difference.

Still no answer in my ticket. Should I make a new one? I replied it, is it the right way to do it.

I have this situation for several weeks now. Need to press reset or remove the Zipato power supply. I've now put a timer switch on the Zipato power supply for auto reboot at midnight............

Hi Ivan, just a minute ago I send the email you requested. I'm looking forward in receiving your feedback.

The email details provided basically tell me to update to the latest beta firmware, that there is something wrong with my network, and refer to the TCP/UDP settings in the knowledge base.

I have been trying for a week now, and spend a lot of time and efforts in it. My firewall logs show all conditions as per the knowledge base are met. Nevertheless the device keeps 'freezing'.

Based on my experiences I wouldn't recommend anyone to use the Zipato device for important/critical applications as climate control, burglary or fire alerts etc.

Maybe the V1.0 firmware promised since 2013 will solve this matter......

I updated to the latest beta firmware and since then no more offline problems. 0.9.999.4j works fine.

Ensure that the network settings on the box are correct. Check the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway to ensure they match your router's settings.
