Mine was offline but has now come back online but nothing now works.

Same her!

Great to hear that it is not a scandinavian issue ;-) But again some public statement would be good.

As my schedulers were late by 2 hours I made all the corrections and synchronized. A few hours later the schedulers were 2 hours early. Perhaps Zipato tried to fix the time delay not knowing that I had fixed it already.

Now i want to correct the times again, but the UI will not synchronize since 3 hours. What's going on?

The green LED on my box is flashing now and still nothing is working but does say online.

I hope we don't have to add all devices back when/if things start working again.

Same issue for me. Box offline for more than 5 minutes until 10:05 (italy) and now offline again from more than 5 minutes ...

Box offline again and LED still flashing.

Can anyone explain to me how it works?

1) How is the box talking to the app,

2) How is the box talking to internet, and why, when?

3) How is the box talking to the cloud service, and why, when?

A lot of why and when?

Is any one living next to Zipato in Croatia? Maybe go ask them?

Again offline. And as usual no answers from Zipato Team

This is how looks like a true status page of a real working system: http://status.smartthings.com/

Unfortunately it's not available to all Europe yet ...

Now answer at the phone either. It costs somewhere between 0,4 and 0,6 euro to cal Croatia, but it could be worth it if you get some answers. If they just were open about what is going on, there would not be any problem. For example if they say at 07.00 to 11:00 we will make service on the system and update our service please be patient. There would not be any problem.

I will contact the Swedish seller and ask them how to get in contact whith Zipato.

The status page saysHub Connectivity in the UK is opperational. Well I can tell you it isn't.

The status page is what smartthings customer has.

Zipato has nothing like this yet :-(

I thought we were supposed to have some limited control when the box is offline.

Me to?

Everything but HTTP requests and internet based things?

Perfect, an answer at least. Do you have server maintenance every day at a certain time.

1) Do you only have one server?

2) Is this server protected against nature catastrophes?

3) Why don't we have a local mode in the app?

4) I thought that was one of the big selling points for Zipato?

5) How meny have admin acess to this server?

As long as we get informed it is ok.

photo

We need local mode access for times like these.

Hey Hrovje,

thank for the info.

Your info says:

- Zipato Team is caring

- our boxes are ok

- we are sure you will fix it soon

At least my lights work threw the app bu no sync.

I'm new to Zipato, and when I experience things like this I become a litle dubious...

This morning, instead of having a smart home I had a dead home. Local rules seems to work, but I had no control locally to turn on lights etc.

I do accept that systems go down, but I do not like that it have such big impact on my house, and I definitely do not like that there is no official status page.

To me as a customer it is important that you fix the problem ASAP, but it is equally important that you tell me immediately that you know about the problem, whar caused it and when I can expect it back online.

A proper status page, with history, is a MUST for me to continue using Zipato.

Same here, if they only are open and honest abut it and. There's not much problem. But the help desk told us when the damage was already there.

I still cant sync but I am not angry becous they contacted me.

I almost said the exact same thing in my support ticket. It is not good for Zipatos reputation that this thread had time to be opened. When my synology server is down I amidiatly get a email.

Same problem here. The alarm would not turn off.

But i got this mail:

We are

experiencing some issues with servers. Some controllers are not accessible

online, and can by used in local mode only.

We are

currently working on this issue, and we will keep you posted.

Hi Hrvoje,

I'm sorry but I can still see the 2 hours issue for my Zipabox. It is not solved I guess...

Thank you Hrvoje, all seems to be working again.

My only concern is that our systems are only as good as your servers.

photo

I am happy things work again.

Do Zipato have any comments on the need for a proper Status Page ? I'm quite sure I'm not the only one requesting it, but the comments I've seen from Zipato on other threads does not give me much hope...

And as others here, I'm also worried that downtime on a Croatian server leaves me unable to turn on the light in my living room :-/

photo

Now it is working for me!

photo

Same problem for me in France with 2 hours too much

photo
1

Schedulers do not work again

photo
1

I just received 2 alarms by email saying that the Zipabox is offline (controller is unreachable) but after checking with the app it is displaying "online".

Another strange behavior and proof that there is a lack a reliability.

photo

Same thing for me and I get a third a few minute ago. Trouble with Zipato server ?

photo

The issue with Schedulers was linked to Time zones and it was resolved please check this thread

How do you set up an e-mail alarm if the box is offline? I´ve looked through the interface but didn´t seem to find anything.
