Hi all,

New to Zipato (and smart homes) and to this forum.

Got a Zipatile 1 and looking around the forum ive read about V3 app.

As i underatand i should unregisted my device, log in to v3.zipa... and register my serial?

I need to install the v3 app on the repo over the zipatile? Thats it?

Is there a "howto" or manual with step by step?

Should i backup anything?

Is it worth moving to V3? Can't find any screenshots of the new app.

Help,

Lior ;)

Hi

it is possible to use Zipatile1 on V3 platform with the new app (black icon) if you install the new app via App repo.

If your ZipaTile1 is already registered on V2 platform (my.zipato.com), here is the procedure to migrate to V3 platform:

1. Unregistered (Clear owner option) your controller in v2 platform

2. Create v3 account at https://my3.zipato.com/zipato-web/app2login - it is possible to use the same account from v2

3. Under my3.zipato account create System

4. Add server (controller) from step 1 to the System as a Master server - NOTE: Master server can be any Zipato controller but NOT ZipaBox1

5. Add another server to the system as Slave server (Multisever license is required) - optional; NOTE: Slave server can be any Zipato controller.

6. All real devices from v2 will be presented in the System

7. All virtual devices, Scenes, and rules should be re-check by user and re-created if necessary (it is not supported transfer virtual elements from v2 to v3)

Hi

it is possible to activate Demo system in the mobile app in order to test using of V3 platfrom on the mobile app.

Below you can see some screenshots where you can see how V3 mobile app works and Changelogs from mobile app. We recommend to check Demo system by yourself and if you have any question, feel free to contact Zipato support team.

When I start Zipato app (black Icon) on my zipatile 1, the app crashes. Do I have to change something?

Did you get an answer?

Reactions from Zipato seem to be very slow. Unacceptable when you want to control your house.

Switching from one task to another seems intricate. Along with that, it’s actually mentally draining. So what a time tracking software does is that it simply bundle relevant projects together and tackle them all at once. time tracking app

Goodevening,

Hope someone can help me out. I have tried the steps which Dino Mandic descrided to migrate my Zipatile V1 (which was running pn the V2 platform) to V3, but now I lost all my devices, settings and rules. In other words my complete home automation is fucked up (sorry for my language) :(

So I unregisterd my box on the V2 platform, logged on tot the V3 platform (admin.zipato.com) with my excisting account and added the box again. Alle my real (zwave and zigbee devices ae gone now).

Hope someone can help me with this?

Many thanks!

Mischa

Good morning to everyone in the community, I have a different problem and hope someone can help me. I have purchased a zipatile 1 yet to be started. Having successfully registered on the V3 platform I cannot login from the device it tells me it is already registered. I'm not getting the hang of it.
