Zipatile and Domestic Hot Water
Under Consideration
I am thinking of getting a Zipatile, however, I would like to know if it can be used to control and schedule domestic hot water? - similar to a Nest 3rd Gen?
I already have a Nest 2nd Gen and then a standard programmer for hotwater at the moment, so Im hoping I dont need to buy another nest, and the Zipatile will solve the problem

there are numerous ways to control your hot water, it just depends on the current it draws. You could use a low to high current relay and use the relays off the zipatile itself, or install a z-wave module, then use them with the virtual thermostat device as an endpoint. This will turn it on and off.
Or do you mean hot water via a boiler and radiators?
