Zipatile +IP adress

Do i have to allocate a static Ip adress for my zipatile?

My internet service provider is making some restriction on the router setting and do not offer static Ip adress for my router.

Is it mandatory to fill this attached field as in the picture or not?

Static ip address is recommended, but not external but local. You can manage thisnviabyour router.

why it's recommeneded? Which kind of problems we can encounter if we didn't fix it ?

If the router is not accessible as some ISP do it how i can fix a static Ip for my zipato?

it is not necessary unless you are running the SIP intercom service. Then you would want your Zipatile to stay at the same address so other Zipatiles can find it. Or if you have other devices that make http calls to your zipatile using its ip address. To do this via the Zipatile, go to the settings menu (web portal) here you will find a place to set the ip address. I would first see what the ip address is currently and use this.

Otherwise it is not necessary at all.
