Hello

can i configure any external video door station with Zipatile since zipatile works as interval video door station?

I want to know what are the external video door station brands supported by zipatile?

Do i have to have the Pro version to add the supported or any external Ip video door station .

As far as I know the only official intercom supported by Zipato is Doorbird, see below;

ok do i have to buy pro license or it's supported by zipatile automatically.?

The pro lisence is for 100 USd and this is so bad for zipato.

If i have to pay the pro license do i have to repay it each year???

You only have to pay it once.

If a year is over all features will stay.

Are there features released after this year you have to pay again if you want the new features.

so to activated the door bird Ip intercom i have to pay only once 100 USd for all the life of the door bird Ip intercom?

Is there any kind of Ip intercom that don't need the Pro feature to be activated by zipatile??

I know some other users have integrated other Intercoms to Zipato, however I don't know how good the integration is since I don't have any, some of them have done it through IFTTT and by installing the native app in the Tile. In order to use Zipato SIP native integration you need PRO licence.

I think that installing the app on zipatile will resolve the isssue since the zipatile is an android app!! so we can talk opens and anser the to the external video door station isn't it? But why they use IFTTT??

Hani,

I don't have any IP doorbell on my system so I cannot really answer those questions. My guess is that they use IFFFT with maker channel to make HTTP requests and communicate with Zipato that way.

Hi Hani. Doorbird does not require PRO licence. PRO is onky needed if you want SIP based intercom

Correct, you do not need the Pro licence for Doorbird. It operates by its app, therefor has no local SIP service integration. If you require the Zipato SIP server for using an Intercom from 2N Helio or Akuvox intercoms then the SIP server is required. This SIP server also allows you to use multiple Zipatiles as intercoms also. Remember you also only need one pro licence for the SIP server, all other Zipatiles and Intercoms connect to this Zipatile's SIP server.

Let's say i got 50 other appartments used simply as intercoms (No SIP server on appartment Tile )with 2N or Akuvox ..

Will the system works 100% In term of security Breach?? what if a user from an appartment delete another contact or another user from another appartment since they are all (all the zipatile working as intercom) related and bunded with one main zipatile SIP server(Building Tile SIP)?

I heard about those problems! HAs zipato resolved this issue ?

IS it mandatory for me to install SIP server on all zipatiles appartment for security raisons? This is money lost!! and so much expensive!

what if i want to use the zipatile as home automation system and the building internet connection is lost! how do i configure the tile to authenticate the internet through the wifi router installed in the appartment ?? IS there a way to switch automatically between both networks??
