Zipatile offline?

Do more people experience the zipatile service offline?

I already restarted the Zipatile, but that did not help..

Hi hvlissel;

Have you connecting using the Ethernt to Micro USb Adapter?

If using the wifi to connect your Zipatile to the Internet was it working fine before? HAve you mouved your Router so that the wifi signal is not able to reach Zipatile?

Same for me. Zipatile and Zipabox Offline...

Wifi for Zipatile and Ethernet for Zipabox.

The bad thing is, because the zipatile was offline while sunset rule was activated, no lights in garden and the front door went on during the night. In the same night they broke in our house and stole our laptops and phones...

maybe it is possible to create something while zipatile is offline the rules just work..

My was yesterday offline also for a couple of hours... No solution restarting.

It would be nice to have the status of the services, similar to Vera: https://status.getvera.com/

Strange...normally the rules work offline and the alarm too ... On zipabox anyway

Rules and virtual thermostats worked for me even if it was online! That is a great feature!!

I dont remember now if the scheduler is an online requirement (i believe it is not and it fires even when zipatile is offline), but as to the sunset, it can fail also if the weather station does not get data for one day. Therefore I advise you to create 2 additional rules that would switch the Night status accordingly. Look up on internet where you are and make one rule that turns off the IsNight switch at the latest time on daily basis (when at the latest there is not night) and turns on the IsNight at the latest when it is night. This way you will not be dependent only on the weather station.
