Zipatile screen activation on up swipe

Why can I do left, right and down swipe on an off screen and trigger events, and the screen stays off, but on an up swipe you activate the screen. Very annoying.
I would be nice to have the screen activate only on a double tap also. Leaving a basic single "accidental" tap to leave the screen off and do nothing.

We do not activate the screen on swipe up by default. The default is to activate the screen with a single tap, not a swipe up. Perhaps you have this enabled in the Touch Manager?

no i have not. I did check this and the setting menu. I have reset the tablet now so I am unable to check currently. Maybe when we have it installed I will recheck this.
How about including a double tap option to activate the screen? I noticed many times in would activate when you didn't want it to. Via brushing passed the panel or touching one of the touch buttons on the side.

We do understand that having a hard coded default for this might be a problem for some people. We do have plans to remove this and just make a default setting in the touch manager which could then be removed or modified.

is it possible to have the screen activated as soon as the motion sensor detects movement? I want to have a similar behaviour to the NEST Themostat. Can I achieve this with rules?
