- I use the Relay 2 to control my heater, i find it often not switching when i chance the set-point manually or when the schedule activates the heating?

I also experienced issues with the thermostat. In my case looked like if you set up a schedule for heating and then change the status to "heating start at" or "until next" the schedule program overrides the previous mentioned function. I also thing a better description could be shown for the Thermostat functions and since this virtual device can be complex a detailed video or documentation is required.

Have you tried to add a virtual switch to the outpout of the thermostat just to test?

are you using the included virtual thermostat that came on the Zipatile? Otherwise this original thermostat could be causing isssues as it is by default associated to your on board relays.
