Zipato IR Extender + virtual thermostat = missing SETPOINT_HEATING

I'm trying to get the ZXT-120 IR sender to work properly with my daikin emura II ac/heater.
There are a lot of IR codes for Daikin. And I think I tried them all now. Most can control cooling properly. But non of them makes the virtual thermostat issue SETPOINT_HEATING events. While I'm not sure, I think I need this event to stop heating when the desired temperature is reached.

I loaded the beta firmware (1.2.9). which turned this zipabox into a lagging syrup-hell. But after going back to "official" now, my thermostat sends SETPOINT_HEATING all of a sudden.
