Zipato Micromodule Energy Meter Reporting Every Minute
In Progress
Hi,
Just installed a Zipato Micromodule Energy Meter, and for some reason it is reporting Watts (I am not sure of the other sensors) every minute even though it is configured to report every 10mins (report value is 120). Is there a way to fix this?
No connection
Real-time notifications may not work
I had the exact opposite problem. Mine was reporting about every 8 minutes and I wanted to change it two every minute.
Try the following.
Go to Device Manager, select your energy meter by clicking on the gear to the right of the name, click on Configuration and under custom configuration enter "1" in the "Param" field and "2" in the "Size" field. Click on the "Value" field and this should bring up "SEND RETRIEVE CANCEL" buttons. Select RETRIEVE and see what value is returned. If you are getting reports every minute it should be "12". If you want it to be every 10 minutes simply change the value to 120 and hit "SEND". You can then verify that it was received by retrieving the value again.
If the correct value is read back then click on the little minus sign next to the custom configuration you just entered, click save and sync with your controller. Check device manager and see if the reports are now coming at 10 minute intervals.
All this is done assuming your standard pull-down menus are not available in the device manager.

Interesting. I'm using a Zipatile. Does your controller have an option to retrieve the register value for option #1? I see you have it set to 720 but are you able to read the register value to insure that it is set to 720? What controller are you using? It could be that the controller is polling the device instead of waiting on the report.
