Hello.

My zipato thermostats turns the devices on and off randomly before reaching setpoint. I tried to create a new thermostat with the same result, so no rules are doing this. How can i fix this? Mvh Øystein

Hi,

You are using RUN PROGRAM program type.

Here is explanation of some thermostat program type.

  • RUN PROGRAM, thermostat is working according to your pre-programmed settings
  • HOLD UNTIL, thermostat is working according your manually adjusted settings, but it will go back to pre-programed mode once the mode change is done by scheduler (e.g. if you adjust your thermostat manually at 2pm, and thermostat is scheduled to go in comfort mode at 6pm, in this mode it will go to comfort mode at 6pm as scheduled)
  • PERMANENT, thermostat will work according to your manual setup until you change it manually
  • HOLD FOR, you can set exact amount of time (e.g. 45 minutes) in which your adjusted settings will be applied, afterwards, thermostat will continue working according to scheduler

Best regards,

Hi again. Yes i am using run program. The problem is that the thermostat is pulsing the output. Lets say the temperature is 18c in the livingrom. The thermostat is set to 21c. Then the thermostat sends the signal on/off/on/off/on/off/on until it reatches setpoint and then goes off.

Mvh

Are you using the internal outputs of the relays or you are using an external device?

760W is too much for the internal switching.

the internal relay can't measure power...

Im using external divices. Its not the divices that is the problem. The zipato viritual thermostat go from heat to off, heat again and off, and so on. Im starting to wonder if this has something to do with the energy save heating funksjon in thermostat settings? Its doing this to save power? I tried to sett this meter to 40c but the result is just the same.

Here you can se the state of the heat divice and the temp i the room at the same time.

Viritual thermostat is set to heat to 21c.

The heating starts at 04:00 in the morning. In my head the heating divice should go from off to on at 4am (If temp is under 21c) and stay on until the temperature is 21c. Then turn off. Right???

Well, it is indeed strange. Can you try to create a new thermostat, insert the same devices, then remove this thermostat and synch? Perhaps there was an error and by replacing the thermostat with a new one will solve your problem.

This is a nice A Difficult Game About Climbing solution, I will try it
