MiniKeypad change pin and Tag

Hi, could you provide a detailed explanation about how to save a new pin and register a Tag in the minkeypad device. I bought one, inclusion works fine, but no success at all to save a pin or a tag, the spinning wheel is spinning and spinning with a message saying "please wake up your device". Obviously the device prefers to sleep ! I read tons of messages on the net but nothing helped. Batteries are new.
