Zipato cameras - is it possible to view live streaming video over the internet?
Answered
A year ago, I read that this may be a "future". Is it possible to stream live video from an IP camera via the internet easily?

Hello,
I would wish it's that easy. On the Iphone i get a message : Error, stream cannot be opened. Protocol is not supported (for all camera's)
Unfortunaly there is no guide for connecting camera's.

Is this still not possible? I have a Vivotek IB8369 IP-camera. I don´t get this to work correctly. I have a 300/300 fiber, so bandwidth is not the problem :-)

Use a third party app like IPCamViewer and setup port forwarding on your router. Forward to TCP port 1935 and configure the client with the following URL rtmp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1935/zipatile/1 for high quality stream and /zipatile/2 for low quality stream. the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of your zipatile.
