Live Camera snapshot

Need Answer

Hello all,

I am trying to get a live camera snapshop from my IP camera, by sending it via email with snapshot attachment.

Basicically it works but the snapshot is always from last refresh of the camera or just random. But I would like to have a live snapshot exactly when I run the message rule.

So if I refresh the camera manuelly, I can take directly a live snapshot (camera time stamp=refresh time). But that doens´t work with a rule. even if I put a "refresh all" block right before.

Any Idea or experience from your side?

OK I see you need a wait puzzle of 10sec between MOVEMENT and image send.

Es dauert immer ein paar Sekunden bis er das neue Bild abgelegt hat ;-)

Also Snapshot + 10sec warten + Nachricht senden

PS: Das WENN Puzzle kannst Du dir sparen.

Can you share a screenshot of the rule that takes the snapshot and sends it?

yes of course. I use this one:

I already tried to place the "refresh all" or "Take snapshot" Block before the "Send message" Block, but without success to get a fresh snapshot.

See below the message settings. But as I am saying basically it works and I am receiving a snapshot. It´s only not a fresh one =)

Wow. It works indeed perfectly. The snapshot is performed exactly when the movement is recognized!!!
