Hue and Zipato - How to get, How to set, RGBW and Whites lamps

The MeetHue app works excellent in setting the color and white balances of Hue lamps and strips.

I have tried, but seem to be utterly unable to set the right ambiances from Zipato's colour selections.

Can one of the wizards in this forum kindly describe in detail how to read the "current" settings/values from Hue, and how to set the values using HTTP-calls from Zipato to the Hue server?

Yes I can, please look at below post for detailed instructions to send basic HTTP commands for Phillips Hue from Zipabox, I find this method much more reliable than using scenes, and that way you realy get the scenes and groups you want. Setting RGBW from the Hue API is a a bit more complicated, way easier to create scenes in the bridge and then trigger them from Zipato, if you want to see how to set RGBW on hue bulbs take a look at their knowledge base in the Hue developers site, there is three diffent gamuts for all the Hue devices and to me is not really worth the hassle, unless you want to create dynamic effects.

I have never read, values from the bridge using HTTP, usually Zipato updates in a "decent" way the statuses of the bulbs so I really didn't bother. Not sure how to decode the GET response from the bridge, I will make a test and let you know.
