Aeon Lab Panic button can not trigger
Known
Hi All,
I have a panic button, I
have added to my zipabox succesfully. The button have included and I can update
the new settings for the button. Next, I have created a rule for testing the
button, the rule's function is very simple. When the button is press, it will
switch on the bulb, wait 5 seconds and switch off the bulb. The problem is that
when I press the button, nothing is happening. It mean that the designed bulb
do not change it's state
Note: Sometime I have
seen the red light when I press the button, another time I have seen the green
light!!!
I have attached some
pics for rule and button setting in dashboard
Please help me, because
I'm new to Zipabox and Panic button
Thank you very much

Hey Nguyen, the problem is the latest firmware. i had the same drama. I had to go back to a previous firmware to use. In the old firware the Panic fob is a "control" device. With this you can set both a short press and long press and the actions work. Remember though that it sometimes takes a while for the fob to sync with the rules in the zipabox. But once done it will work. I used these for blind controls and emergency alarms.
The new firmware had the panic fob as an "actuator". The true and false readings do not work. They have now updated the firmware so it should work, but will require you to remove the panic button then re-include it.
Also think your setting should be scene mode not group mode.
