Aeon labs Home energy meter (2nd edition)

Hello, I have added this meter (DSB28-ZWUS) to my Zipato controller, however the controller does not recognize this device as an energy meter and only reports the data as "VALUE 1", I expected this device to provide 2 values like current consumption and cumulative consumption. As it is, it is pretty well useless. Is this device to be properly supported or am I to return it?

I'm surprised that the DSB28-ZWUS has such a poor interface that it doesn't do anything except put VALUE1 logs into my events log when my other AEON Labs device "Smart Energy Switch" DSC06106-ZWUS works great, with a great object within Zipato and it shows up for the energy graphing feature. NONE of which shows up for the whole home energy meter. I see other postings in this forum suggesting that the HEM is "fully supported" what am I doing wrong?
