Need Answer

Hello everybody,

I am trying the Banext Panic Watch for Elder People Care uses.

I suceeded in including it in my Zipabox zWave Home Network, but no event are triggered when pressing Once or twice the button even though the device seems to be recognized and appears in the list of devices in the config windows (as BeNext: 21 with 2 functions : Group & Remote Control Badge).

I tried to associate the Remote Control Badge with some device but it didn't work, I also tried to create a rule using the event trigger of the Remote Control Badge to activate lights, but it didn't work).

Any suggestions ?

Is this device compatible with the zipabox ?

Thanks in advance for your comments and answers !

Philippe.

last time when we checked on this device, it had the same device ID as Wintop door sensor, so it was not working properly with Zipabox. Meanwhile, we were contacted by Wintop and they will fix this issue with the ID. However, I am afraid that this one will not work...:-(

I finally succeeded in making it works as a ON/OFF generic device which can be associated to any ON/OFF device by adding the following parameter line :

Parameter name : CONFIGURATION_SET

Parameter number : 4

Parameter Value : 1

Then I saved the configuration.

And then I associated the second function of the be next button to the alarm device.

That's it.
