Hi all,


i'm a brand new customer of zipabox and when i want to enter serial of my zipabox ... BOOM !


"Fail : Zipabox is not online"


i already sent a ticket to support but no answer yet.


please help me or zipato will automate his own jump throw window ...

- 1 hour waiting (fixed green light).

- reset done (reset + Btn 2 hold).

I can't register my new box, I receive an error 'Allowed registration time elapsed' . I don't like the cloud running blocking me from full use of something I paid for and this has proved my worry. I an sitting here with a £150 paperweight.

Hello Ray, interesting point you have here. Did you check out your internet connection, as this message means you didn't even connect to the cloud. Please, use the PC instead of the Zipabox with the same cable, and try to browse the Internet. If you can do it, than try again with the Zipabox after restarting it first. If this doesn't help, than send us the serial number of the box to the hello@zipato.com

How can I check if the device is connected to the cloud? I see it on my LAN.

Ciao Alfredo. Si sono italiano di Roma. Il problema è lo Zipabox non si connette ad Internet. IL LED non diventa verde ma lampeggia velocemente bianco/blu e comunque le sole 2 volte che è arrivato ad essere verde fisso, non sono riuscito a registrarlo sul sito.

Io ho una rete Fastweb ed in cascata al router fastweb ho un mio router wireless al quale ho collegato lo zipabox, prende un IP della mia rete, ma poi nulla. Sniffando il traffico dello zipabox sulla mia lan vedo solo Telnet, sai se è normale? Non esiste un web server interno locale al quale posso collegarmi per capire cosa combina? Adesso che ti sto scrivendo, l'ho connesso direttamente al router fastweb, il led è verde fisso finalmente, ma non si registra lo stesso... AIUTO!!!

Ah ok quindi se mi va giù Fastweb no.n posso controllare nulla neanche da casa! O l'applicazione iPad ha anche una funzione "locale"?

Senza Internet quindi non posso usare l'applicazione e quindi l'iPad come una console per gestire le funzioni (accendere luci, chiudere serrande, etc.) stando in casa. Da remoto è ovvio se Internet è out, non raggiungo il controller e amen.

Comunque ancora adesso lo Zipabox è collegato al router Fastweb, led verde fisso ma la registrazione non va "Allowed registration time elapsed"... Devo verificare se per caso Fastweb filtra il Telnet in qualche modo...

I have the same problem. I try to register but it's writing "Zipabox is not online" but my zipabox is plugged and the LED is green.

It's ok now, I tried on my iMac and not on the iPad and it's ok.

i saw in modem settings there is no DHCP adress when zipabox is not blinking

noname button = blue/white (5 sec) then 0.1 sec button1=green.There

is a steady yellow on noname button 5-10 sec then blink blue/white...

I recently had 2 boxes with a white UTP cable were pin 1 was connected to pin 8

I expect there is a mixed up in the cables

Try a other UTP cable

I had the same problem with my brand new zipabox. When I tried to register it I got the message "Allowed registration time elapsed". Then I discovered that the led was yellow, so I tried to change the ethernet flat cable with another ethernet cable, the led became green and I could register the zipabox.

Hi,

I receive today my box and I can't register it. I have a message " Allowed registration time elapse".

I reset the box many time with the "reset" button and with the second button.

Sometimes the third led blink blue and yellow.

What I have to do ?

cant register in webb, already exist it said.

can se it in iphone app, but cant register that sn number.


ordered a regular zipabox but in the box it was a duo..

box also have different sn number
