Know what arm status an alarm partition is: Arm Away or Arm Home.

Any one knows about how to retrieve the exact arm status of the alarm. I would like to trigger different actions depending if I set my alarm to arm home or arm away. Thanks

And please don't come again with the management with open detectors and move sensors and virtual switches. There's situations in which it's far to be usable.

Thank you for your suggestion. We will consider this option in the future.

Hi Sebastian,

Thx for this. Crossing fingers ! ;)

A customer has just pointed out to us that limitation. Indeed, it would be a good (and maybe easy) improvement ;)

True. You could for the moment use a virtual switch. Virtual switch on when arm home, off when arm away. Then include this switch in your rules.

Look in the rule creator.

Rule creator only lets you access Arm'/'Disarm'/'Any' status, Not the Arm Mode 'Home'/'Away'. Going to investigate if I can use the API GET /alarm/partitions/{partition}/attributes

Hum, not sure how I am suppose to retrieve the response :(

Dear Olivier,

Currently this option is not possible so we have forward your issue to our responsible team. They will try to add ARM AWAY and ARM HOME events to drop-down menu for Security partition. When this will be enabled you will have option to trigger different actions depending on current ARM status. Please be patient I will let you know when they are done.

Pero

Try refreshing the page. Or go to device settings and under virtual devices do you have the alarm listed? Withing the setting of the actual alarm you have option to show device in browser. Remember to enable the 1st sub-device and not the root device. If you look in the picture you can see this small geolocation type of icon meaning that this device is showing in device browser

@Zipato, Any idea when we will be able to see in the rules if the alarm is Armed Home or Away?

Or can someone help me do it with virtual switches?

Best regards,

Mathijs

And while you are at it...Is ARM PREMISE also an option? where you arm e.g. gardens, land plot premises, but not house inner or shell.

Also it would be really nice to add also two events, the "Entry Delay" or "Exit Delay", this so we could somehow give a warning that the system is going to get tripped after the "x" seconds configured for the entry/exit delay.

Dear All,

Our team has resolved this issue. Option to retrieve the exact arm status of the alarm is now available.

Please take a look at the attachment.

(1) Choose Armed Home and Armed Away

(2) It will automatically set up when you choose Armed Home or Armed Away in meter puzzle

Great ! I can see this (quite funny to use the alarm as a meter, not too intuitive but it somehow makes sense as well). Hopefully this will be documented.

Going to experiment now. Thanks a lot.
