Connecting Zipabox to security system
I own the backup module and read that it's possible to link it with alarm panel like DSC, honeywell..
Ok, but how to ?
do we need interface from alarm constructor ?
how do you recommend to connect the cable to the backup RS232 connector ?
What would be the possibilies after association ? to know the alarm state ON/OFF ? to change alarm status ON/OFF? to have complete integration in Zipa security panel of the zones ? and when they are trigered ? to make some rules with ?
When i choose for example, DSC alarm as a new device, i have to choose the "serail" probably serial but left/right/inner/outer ; i didn't understand what is for and what to choose...
Is it possible to link other alarm panels that hav RS232 connections ? i think particulary on the VISONIC Powermax pannels that are a big part of the existing alarm system already in place ?
It would be nice, as for the 3G modem compatibility, if some information about this module and compatibility and use, could be more easier be found by users.
