Daily sync needed?

Since I have had problems with my Zipabox getting offline every other day, I've made it a habit to login daily to check its functioning. The offline problem has been solved, but one question remains. In list view from the 'Zipato' menu at the top you can press the circled letter i to get additional information on the box its status. This amongst other indicates whether or not a synchronisation is needed.


Even though no settings, rules or any other data has been modified by me, the Zipabox indicates a synchronisation is needed every time I login. Why is this and should I perform this daily sync.?

I also have this problem. And I think this is part of the problem when the app not send command to devise. Really hope Zipato reacts on this and very strange that no one els have this problem? Because this problem was there with the first app to.

No, I do not use IOS. I use the Chrome web browser.

Is this also during the day time?/ what time did this happen?

If it was meant for me it often happened the day after if I leave that app running. But it have happened with in a hour to. I will try the newest iOS app 2.1 and se if it helps. So far so good. But with in a week I will see better if it works.

So far with latest version of app and latest beta software it seem to work. (My Zipato 2.1 and 0.9.999.5b)


I will continu monitor.

I have no sync problem like I had before. But a new problem have appeared?

I use the beta Android app but so far have not noticed any irregularities with respect to the earlier mentioned. The indication to sync. occurs on a daily basis, but as far as I know there is no specific time for this. Today I have updated to the latest official firmware 0.9.999.6 to check if the earlier reported situation remains occurring.

When the App is running and I press the lock button on the phone and then a couple of hours later unlocke the phone and start the app. This screen appear. It could also happen when switching to another app and then lock the phone and start the app.


I don't think it have happened when I have closed the app and then start it. Only when I leave it running in the background.


But it often take hours with the phone locked.


And it have only happened 3 times sens 9.5f version. The problem is not consistent and it often take long time with the phone locked. But you can se the time when it happened on my phone. 10:05 and with in one minut, closing the app and starting it again it worked.
