Danfoss LC-13 Living Connect Radiator Thermostat

Ben Patton shared this problem 10 years ago
Known

I have just purchased 20 of the new model radiator valves (014G0013 Firmware 1.00) and I am only able to get one of the the valves to join the controller.

I've tried numerous times with each valve, including resetting the valve, the zipabox etc between each joining session (including removing the devices). I see that others have had problems joining the older versions but have eventually got things working.

Can anyone help or should I go back to my Vera-lite as that appears to join to the valves with no issues.

Hi every body,

It seems that Zipato doesn't work properly with the Danfoss Living Connect that are (I think) the best when you have to regul your climate in the house.

My experience was to buy a brand new one zwave controller (RaspberryPI + Zwave) to connect Danfoss with the Zipabox... and use the Thermosat wich is really great implemented in zipabox.

It's really too bad that Zipato Support doesn't take care of the connection between the zipabox and the danfoss living connect.

Bye

What are you talking about? Zipato is working with Danfoss living connect best of all controllers. We are working close to Danfoss and even support some Living connect which are yet to be released.

What is your exact problem with Zipabox and Living connect?

When I appaired the Danfoss living connect with the Zipabox, It works!

BUT when I tried to change the value of one of a Danfoss Living connect with the thermostat of the zipabox, It doesn't work. (All of my Danfoss living connect that are away (+1m) from the zipabox are offline)

So I tried to do so with my rapsberry wich detect very good all my danfoss living connect and can discuss with them.

I think that (perhaps mine but perhaps some other) the zipabox zwave signal isn't too strong to do so.

Which firmware version of the Danfoss living connect you have? Can you control any other device with this Zipabox?

Is my problem normal?

Do you have any Danfoss connected to your box now? We can connect to your box and check it out what is going on?

Greetings,

It is very doubtful that there is some issue with our Zipabox controller and the Danfoss 014G0013 valve.

We have hundreds of 014G0013 valves registered in our database as properly joined devices.

We have also tried to join our 014G0013 sample units to our test Zipaboxes running the latest firmware and we found no issues.

Please open a ticket at support.zipato.com. We will try to do what we can to solve this problem.
