Device offline every time I want to use it

My newly installed - and powered - fibaro device has worked well for 2+ days. It seems it's now offline every time I want to use it.
The same problem 
No connection
Real-time notifications may not work
at 8.30 and from 19.45 to around 22.00 it was offline yesterday.
when offline, I actually can't control it at all.
I rebooted the zipabox (power off / power on) and one hour later it was back online.Device is quite far from the box (30-40m, one wall only) so I've installed another (powered) device in between since the beginning.This morning and right now everything seems to be fine.

yes, but the distance did not change and the in between additional device always was there... I'm not an expert, but I'd rather go for a z-wave routing issue. I'm tempted to remove the in-between device to see what will happen ;-)
