Dimmer not joining?

Today i received my zipabox with two fibaro dimmers and three fibaro wallplugs. I started testing and the wallplugs work just fine. However I am unable to get the dimmers working. I am unable to get them to join the zwave network or even see them. I am unsure if its the wiring that is wrong.
I am installing the dimmer behind an existing switchbox in a 2 wire system. I attached the phase wire (brown) to L and the output wire (black) to O. Then i bridged N and O, in the attached image i even removed the switch to reduce the problem.
I am out of ideas what to try? Do I have two defective units, seemed unlikely to me?

Seems i solved my own problem, the cause is the spot leds i had connected, they are letting in sufficient power through causing the dimmer not to work due them not being dimmable appearantly.
