Discovery process very very slow or even not starting

I am experiencing significant problems while adding modules. The message "Discovery Process Starting" is displayed but no countdown is starting. On one occasion the countdown started after a very long time and the Fibaro module was added correctly.
Already rebooted the ZIPABOX and unplugged it waiting for 2 minutes, but no solution. I am using Chrome. I haver more than 20 Fibaro modules on the ZIPABOX and never experienced this before.
I am also experiencing rule update issues. Rules are being "Saved" only after repeatedly clicking the "Save" button.
I read from earlier posts that once queuing problems between UI and server caused such behavior. Anthing wrong on the ZIPATO side?

Just waited 18 minutes untill the countdown finally started. Device was joined successfully. This speed is definitely unworkable. Hoping for a quick solution.
