Display the Synchronize button in another color when a modification requires a synchronization to keep it

I think it is not obvious to know when it is necessary to synchronize. So it could be cool to have this button in another color when it is probably required to synchronize. At least the user is alerted. If it does not synchronize he would loose its modification but without complaining :).
What do you think?

so.........this was 2 years ago, but it still says in progress........ I hope it is just a case of forgotten to update the status, and not an indication on how long these things take?
