Doorsensor to prevent Fibaro Roller Shutter to activate when door is open rule/puzzle requested

Just got my Fibaro RollerShutter FGRM-222 working at 0-100% and installed a door sensor. The boolean to avoid the roller to be activated when door is open is puzzling me. There are some alarmsettings possible so I though to use flooding as a means of cheating ( door sensor promoted to floodsensor). No success! Now I'm playing around with a virtual switch and the door sensor but need some advise how this requirement ( door open isnot activate roller) can be used optimized?

If i've understood you correctly, you can try creating these rules (view the attachment).

So your roll shutter will go to 100% when your door is closed (virtual switch turned off) and to 0 % when your door is opened (virtual switch turned on).

Don't forget to click Save and synchronize new rules.

Thanks George for your timely highly appreciated response. I did learn from the rules you've supplied but the problem is more of a logical nature that will be also of interest to others with a door swinging open under a shutter roller. The basic question is how can I use the full functionality of the switch+slider while blocking functionality if the door is open this to avoid damage to my outside swinging door.

Boolean: if(door == open) disable switch/slider function

If (door != open) enable switch/slider function

This rule works like you want. It immediately stops any position change for the shutter if the door is open (keuken is Dutch for kitchen)

Jos, that's great! I did notice 'stopchange' but could not understand the exact function's impact on the hierarchy i.e. would activating again be overruling! Tanks anyway for yourtremendous help making

The function works acceptable. By selecting close at small seconds interval the shutter starts to get down in rather small increments. I'm wondering if the nice people of Zipato are looking into this in order for me (and others) to get a better understanding of Jos his excellent work!

I not that impressed that George closed this asbeing answered!

The offered solution by Jos does act as a first safeguard but, as mentioned, triggering the roller/shutter down does still activate the motor. This is not the final solution and I'm kindly asking Zipato to join in to decipher Jos his excellent input to establish why re-activating the switch is bypassing this function. I therefore suggest to change the state of this request as OPEN and NOT ANSWERED. If required I issue a ticket
