Need Answer

I've connected my DSC alarm system via the IT-100 serial port interface to the Zipato serial module and the install indicates no network. according to an article by Sebastian, when I select add new device I should get prompted to what module is connected. I get no network configured. please advise?

So here's the case for keeping the old interface...would not add to system with new interface...old one via API dashboard added DSC. Now ZigBee fails again due to having to reorder the modules as having more than two modules on one side has not been considered.

Now that the DSC Alarm has added...no zones/sensors will add under either the new or old interfaces. trying to follow Sebastions instructions: https://community.zipato.com/topic/rs232-backup-module-pinout with connection to the serial module. it appears the system sees the alarm panel...just not getting any door/window/motion sensors.

I am willing to connect to your zipabox to see if I can figure out what is the problem.

If you send me your box SN at zcerovski@3plus.hr, I will try.

But first check if you connected everything the way it is supposed to be and make sure that you configured alarm device properly (partition and zones).

Moved serial module to other slot per email about zig bee not working. DSC appears to join but no sensor join when I attempt door/window or motion. Checked serial interface connection. Using receive, transmit, and ground/common lines in ports 1,2,5. Please confirm the serial port will work on slot 1 as instructed to move. Thanks.

It seems you connected it well. What happens when you start the join procedure? Does the timer start?

Which slot you use for serial and which for Zigbee?
