Energy price import
Need Answer
I would
like to import energy price per hour, however I can’t find how to do it or even
if its possible.
Would be grateful if anyone done this and could share it or just let me know if
it’s even possible.
My first
thought was to use this web service (http://expektra.se/datafeed/
se3). However I can probably find other sources if I just find out what the
zipabox is capable off.
Best regards
nicklas

I'm not sure to understand what you are looking for ;)
Do you want to import the energy cost in energy charts? (price of kw/h?)
If this is what you are looking for, simply open the energy widget's parameters and you can add you value.

Thanks for replaying.
My energy price is different for each hour, the price is the energy stock market price for that specific hour.
As you probably understand I would rather have some sort of import functionality then add a new line manually every hour.
So for instance today my price for each hour would be http://www.nordpoolspot.com/Market-data1/Elspot/Area-Prices/SE/Hourly/ (area SE3)
And tomorrow it will be something totally different.
Of course also my meter is measuring per hour and there for I can control via zipabox when to run heavy energy devices on less expensive hours and save some money
There is different websites and services to get the date, however so far i have not found any way to get it into zipabox more then adding houres manully.

Ok I understand what you wanted to do now ;)
Sorry but as far as I know, there is no way to import this automatically into the energy widget.
I suppose that you will have to use a script to achieve this.
It should poll energy price periodically (let's say every hour at hh:00) and then modify a virtual meter on your zipabox depending to hour's price (something like: low price hours = 1 /medium price hours = 2 /high price hours = 3 ).
Then you would have to use that virtual meter value to configure your rules.
Sadly I won't be able to help you concerning that script, but maybe someone more skilled than me will! ;)

I will figure
something out how to do it in the rules as you say. Was hoping there was some possibility
create a http request to fetch the data and get it into the standard energy widget
via the rule creator.
Might be
more interesting for zipato to build something like this in the future when hourly
prices will be more common in Europe
Thanks for your
input and your time
