Thank you for the improved support for the above device but I'm having issues changing mode between Frost Protection, Comfort, and Energy Saving (I'm not interested in using Direct Valve Control atm) and setting the Comfort and Energy Saving temperatures via the 'Thermostat Setpoint' command listed in the manual. Any help?

Is it possible to either get some instructions on using the Stella-Z or if it isn't fully supported yet then an idea on when it will be supported?

Currently, the Stella Z can be used as an input (thermometer) and output device (heating setpoint) in the virtual thermostat. The thermostat modes cannot be set currently, this feature will be available in the next firmware update.
Also please note that thermostat modes on this device are just heating setpoint presets that are mapped as follows:
Frost Protection - setpoint heating set to 6 degrees
Comfort - setpoint heating set to 22 degrees
Energy saving - setpoint heating set to 18 degrees.
Not very useful when used with the Zipabox if you consider the fact that you can manually adjust the heating setpoint using the virtual thermostat device or the rule creator.
The manual control sound great but you have to take into consideration that this device is battery powered. Which means that it spends most of the time in deep sleep. If you try to manually set the valve position, it's position will change only when the device awakens.
In other words, you don't really have realtime control of the thermostat valve position.

hi there I want to integrate this product with one of my controller, I want to read the temperature from Eurotronics stella Z, can you suggest how can I read temperature from it.
Is this device can be configured to send temperature as a unsolicited report when there is a 1 C change in temperature.
