External sensor for virtual thermostat

Need Answer

Hi,

I am experiencing some issues using an external sensor for a virtual thermostat.

I have created a virtual thermostat for my floor heating as show in figure 1.

What I want to do is to use an external temperature sensor for controlling the thermostat, rather than the internal one as this is too unstable. See fig 2.

Unfortunately, the temperature showing 22degC in fig 1 is from the internal sensor and not the external one. The external one is showing 24.5 degC (see fig 3). The internal one is showing 22.8 degC in the figure.

How can I make the thermostat controlled by the external sensor and not the internal one?

Hi,

You need to put input thermometers under "Thermometers" section in the bottom. "Heating" section is used to connect your heating devices (radiators, etc).

If you need official support, please open a ticket and provide S/N of your controller so we could further assist you.

Kind regards,

Paula
