Fibaro window/door sensor OFFLINE

Hello,

I have a Fibaro window/door sensor that has stopped functioning. I do not know why, so I thought of a battery problem. So I bought a new battery that I replaced.

But since the sensor is always OFFLINE in the interface, i can not make it work. Someone would have an idea? what exactly is OFFLINE?

Hi Yann,

How did you replace the battery? Because it need to be in the open position (not closed).

Ok ... i don't know, what is the open position ?

I have just open the front of the sensor and change the battery.

If i need to do another thing, can you explain me ?

OPEN = door open ;)

When you change the battery in the close position then the device thinks u wanna add it again and all gets fucked up.

So now remove the device, then reset it and then rejoin it. Good luck because this devices is an pain in the ass to add.

Have you had this working?

When I first started using these sensors I had problems getting them to work and found the screw driver I was using to install them with was magnetic and was causing them not to work.

As HeroS said, make sure your door or window is open when you insert the battery.

I have six of these all working fine now.
