Need Answer

on the website it says that you can tell if an elderly person gets up and goes back to bed

how do you perform this function?

you must use the infrared sensors and a sensor under the mattress of the bed?

What kind of sensor may be used under the mattress of the bed?

Im not sure how it meant to work and I'm not familiar with any existing push-sensors under the mattress. But i guess motion sensors in all the rooms with combined door sensor would come a long way.

how can I tell if my grandfather gets up during the night and go back to bed with only the presence sensors and magnetic contacts?I'll never have the confidence that my grandfather went back to bed

I believe i would set up the following puzzle.

- During night If motion is detected outside bedroom (bathroom) i expect second motion in bedroom within 20 minutes.

With some development i guess this could be used as a push-sensor.

For the Elderly care You can also use "activity" option within alarm panel. This way, if any sensor within a partition don't detect motion for certain time (which you can set) zipabox will trigger alarm.
