Garage door rule
Need Answer
Hello,
I created a rule to manage my garage door. Sometime, after the closing, the door opens a few inches to indicate a fault.
I would like to automate the opening and closing to not stay to wait before it closes.
I created the rule (attache files) but it does not work. When the door indicates an opened state after a closed state, the rule "if door is open" does not apply.
I made a mistake, but I do not see where. The state of door is ok.
I use devices Vision Security Sensor door and Switch Fibaro.
Thnak you for your help !

"When the state door is any" should work ?
"When the state door is any" should work ?
I tried it, but it's work like I want. For example, when de door is open, after 10 seconds, it's closing....Not cool, when you're driving the car in the garage...

I had the same problem but solved it by using a separate garage sensor (VIsion ZG8101). It reacts to the angle of the sensor so you need to pay a little attention to how you mount it. It basically have two positions, closed (when the unit is horisontal) and open (when the unit is vertical). It's not that exact though so it shifts to closed when the angle is >80 degrees which in my case meant that it reported closed when the door was "almost" closed (10 cm). To solve it I re-mounted it adding a triangular piece behind it to shift the angel so that it didn't react until the top of the door is at exactly 90 degrees.
I then created a virtual switch and used it with a rule. The rule first checks the door sensor for the status then decides if it should open the door (if the virtual switch is on and the door sensor=closed) or vice versa.
Hope this helps,

Thank you Johan ! I use the same sensor door. I use a rule but this does not seem to work.
Can you take me a screenshot to your rule ? You can see my rule in the attached file
thank you !

Sure thing,
Note that my garagedoor opener only needs an impulse to change between (open,stop/close) that's why I turn on the switch and then turn it off again within 2 seconds.
Pls let me know if anything is unclear.
