Horstmann HRT4-ZW only updates a few times then stops

Hi all,
My HRT4-ZW only seems to update its temperature reading a few times over a couple hours then stops. I did one get it listed under 'problem devices' but I couldn't work out what it meant by 'problem'.
Removing battery and reinserting them fixes it for an hour or two, same with reregistering on the ZWave network.
I've had this talking directly to the ASR-ZW directly with no ZWave controller for about a year and it's never had a problem.
Any ideas?

I seem to have fixed it - it now updates generally every 5 (sometimes 10). I followed just the 'Thermostat (SRT321 / HRT4-ZW)' section of http://www.vesternet.com/resources/application-notes/apnt-20#.VMf4yHlya70 but obviously changing it to fit the Zipabox instead of Vera. I think it was the 'n' setting that made the difference.
