Why do you want this?

For seasons? Or sunset/sunrise?

The feature is standard on the Internet Coco control device, not on the lake geavenceerd zipatobox, that's weird.

I want to use for my chicken coop. I have a lamp in the chicken coop. By doing during sunset on the light you extend the daylight. Remain result lay better eggs the chickens.

I read a lot of solutions on the internet, in all the solutions you need to program or to pay. That is not the reasen why i buy the zippato box.

If you want to do this whit a light sensor the lamp goes by a heavy rainshower also burn. That is not necesarry. Ofcource you can that disable by a rule. It is so much convenient to do this with a astronomical clock like the CoCo devices.

Please send a mail to support and ask about this feature, id like it too.

But i think They are referring to the virtual weather station that you can add as a device and then use to control light.

I have the same problem, no sunrise or sunset in the rules creator.

I also use the ifttt service and it works pretty nice.

But I'd rather have a sensor to be turned on sunset - 1h.

That's not possible with ifttt.

Please check with zipato regarding the text on homepage.

Id like something like this... But then sunset instead.

The IFTTT solution works fine by me too. I have send a mail to Zipato last weekend for a integrated astronomical clock. No response so far.

I have also submitted a ticket regarding this issue but no answer at all…

I must say I’m a bit disappointed with the Zipabox and the features is claims to have – see Henk Jan Schat post earlier.

What features are you missing then? (besides the sunset/sunris)

The problems i have:

1. The rule creator for the weather device do not reflect the dash board

channels (eg SUNSET/SUNRISE are not shown in rules but on dashboard)

2. I Need to re-apply the descriptors for the device to show the channels

3. My city do show in the "Type-ahead" selection of citys. I select what i think

is right mentioned as "Gothenburg, Sweden" but according to SUNSET/SUNRISE data

its the incorrect city since there is another one in US Nebraska with the

same name.

But not the same country!

http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=zmw:69138.1.99999

-> This one is picked

http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=zmw:00000.1.02513

-> I want this one!

4. If i want to extract 1h from the SUNSET in the rule creator how to

do that?

5. The weather sensor data "I" is also

initially shown with 0.00 value but is getting updated if I change to any other

and then back again.

6. Some selected city shown in the type-ahead do not carry any data despite shown as update in the site wunderground.

Still no answer… frustrating! Why can’t we get an official answer from Zipato regarding this? Are they working on it at all?
