How to make a rule permanent
Need Answer
Hi everybody,
i don't know if i have to introduce myself as in the lots of forum, anyway i'm using zipabox for a year and it's a pleasure to control all, from lights to swimming pool pump.
i have a for sure stupid question : how to make a rule permanent..
I would like, at any time, musn't depend of a scheduler; if a control is >= to a value, to have an action performed (switch on IF switch is off..). And if the control is <to a value; action switch off (if switch is on).
This to control a motor that must extract hot air (<=50C) from an insert, and must be stop during night if temperature is <50C..

Je dirais tout simplement de retirer le programmateur et de créer ta règle de cette façon:
-QUAND température hotte entre 1 et 100
(je pense que tu peux mettre "any" à la place de entre 1 et 100
-SI température hotte >=50
----SI cheminée air chaud OFF
----cheminée air chaud ON
-SINON
----SI cheminée air chaud ON
----cheminée air chaud OFF

j'avais vu cette astuce sur un forum, mais je me pose la question de la fréquence d'activation de cette règle, qui va donc fonctionner en continue ce qui va alourdir le système?
j'ai essayé le scheduler en mettant une répétition toutes les heures, cela semble fonctionner aussi.

as i told previously, and as wrote by Thomas, to make the rule permanent you can put in WHEN a control with a large value, for instance temperature beetween 1 and 100C, (or "any" as Thomas wrote). But me question for this "tip"; is it going to make the rule working permanently, and too many time, so the system could slow down? I tried yesterday to use the scheduler, with start at 12/11 and rupit hourly (every hour), and it seems to work but i'm not sure.
