Hi everyone,

I bought 10 HSM02 - Wireless Mini Door / Window Contact Detector, which I have set as follows:

Basic SET LEVEL: 99

Off delay: 0

wakeup interval: 1440

But the batteries become depleted in about a month. I've read that should last about 3 years with normal use for 14 openings every day. Can you help me understand the problem?

It is likely that your HSM02 actually did not receive the command to set the wakeup interval to 1440 minutes. Try to set your wakeup interval to 1435 minutes, bring your HSM02 closer to the Zipabox. Then wake up the HSM02 by pressing its tamper button. The HSM02 will then receive the new wakeup interval sent by the Zipabox.

Ok, thanks for your reply. I'll try your hint.

May I ask you what would be your best configuration?

A good compromise between battery and security?

I have set this wakeup interval tu save batteries, but don't think it's so good..

I would set it to its default value, just like you did. The default wakeup interval for HSM02 is 1 day.

Can I abuse of your patience for another question? How can I check if HSM02 have received new settings? Thanks again

Unfortunately, for the moment you can't. However, this feature will be available some time in the future.
