Please take a look at "send http request" puzzle within a rule creator. You can use it for sending GET, POST etc... messages.
Go to "ADD NEW DEVICE" and add new http device. Than go to "device manager" and configure it. It will appear in rule creator as "http sensor" and "http meter" which you can use as any other sensor or meter. You can check out this video as well
