Major Problem with Rule Creator

There is a major problem with zipabox for example, I tried to create a rule to trigger a lamp with a motion sensor. 1st Thing, the action trigger does not work all the time, using 2 sensors for same type, one triggers correctly and the other does not. So the best option is to create a scene to trigger a switch. After doing this, and tested the rule and verified it worked, i wanted to disable it, so i disabled the rule and i clicked on the synchronize rules. The rule still gets triggered even with the rule disabled. So, i tried deleting the rule and also synchronizing rules, the rule still gets triggered no matter what. How can i permanently delete this rule, it is very annoying that the rule does not get deleted at all from the zipabox, Please assist.

I have the same problem from time to time. I disable and delete a rule but it's still executing in the background. Last time I had to wait for a day or two before it finaly was deleted from the box.

I disabled - sync - deleted - sync but it did execute after it was removed. I have done an re-boot of the device now and if I experience this again I'll drop an email to port with the details.

Thanks for quick answer.

Is there any bindings between motion sensor and switch? Then it can do own switching without rule.

Hello Jki,

yes, go to Settings of your Motion sensor, select Bindings and then select the switch that you wan't to bind with your sensor. After this click Save and Synchronize.

I have no problem with that. I only suggest to check bindings, because rabih had this issue. If there is binding, switch work with motion sensor without rule.
