Names of module are the same
Solved
My problem is quite simple: the name of my WallPlug modules have changed name nothing I do.
I put names like "On / Off Bureau", "On / Off Salon" ... and there, without any action on my part, all my modules are called "On / Off switch with meter" .... which is quite difficult to differentiate!
Why ?
Do you any explaination / solution ?
Finally, it is impossible to rename module because the field are disabled.

Zipato has this naming system with generated names room+type+suffix.
Several users I think like me want to be able to have custom names.
(ex: in swedish or for other needs)

SUGGESTION!
- make it possible to select between generated or custom names.
- add a checkbox together with the name-field to make it read-only (for generated names). The readonly can be default!
- the checkbox let user select generated names or custom names.
- if custom names is selected, then it is possible to change the generated name.
- if custom names is selected then the name is not changed if room, type or suffix is changed.
- That way it is possible to enter custom names. Example is Swedish or other names that is not possible to generate. and at the same time you will have generated names as default!
a first step could be to have the name-field not read-only and just let user change it. But have a change in room/type/suffix to over-write the custom name. (think a checkbox is better)

there is also other problems, some devices is not moved to the room, when you change room... and other issues..
Think we just have to wait and let Zipato finish what they are working on...

Maybe you clicked on "re-apply device descriptors" ?That is when I end up with exact that issue you describe. (with my Fibaro Wall Plug)

Today, it si very difficult to create rules, because all my Wall Plug module have the same name and i don't know which one to use...
The problem appeared only yesterday, before everything was OK.

I wrote to fast...
When I click on the button "re-apply device descriptors", a new button named "Generate name" appeared and it works.
All is allright !
But, I don't know the origin of the problem...

But have you decided to skip the suffix?
I can't see it in the dialog...
If I with this can enter a custom name, or generate a name based on room+type (+suffix?)
