Need to press 2 times to switch on/off the light

hello,
we installed a microdouble switch in a light switch inside the wall and it is all fine.
Strange enough we would need to press the button twice to get the light on or off.
This happens also with fibaro switches and we followed instructions....
anybody got the same issue?
is it related to my on/off light switch that i have inside the wall?
