New firmware

It would be nice to have a notification that a new firmware is available.
Maybe from the setting in controller settings/firmware
If i select beta (newest) i get new beta information
If i select official i get new official information and so on.

Regarding the information on the new available firmware, you get a notification as soon as you log in or refresh your web UI when a new official firmware is available and you are prompted to upgrade your firmware. You can see the change log for the official firmware in your Messages.
Beta firmware is called beta for a reason, it is not an official release and this is the reason why all the Users are not notified about it or about its change log. After we complete quality assurance then it becomes an official release.
In many cases beta upgrade is not necessary, we upgrade a Users Box to a beta firmware only in case beta contains a fix for a certain issue.
