"No endpoint" when adding Zipato

Thomas shared this problem 8 years ago
Known

Added an out of the box Zipato Micro Module Switch Double.

After a few trials, exclusion and inclusion worked fine and the switch is visible in the device browser and network manager under the correct name and type. But there is no endpoint. Whatever I do, I don't get this device working. I tried changing the settings, this works. But apparently, without an endpoint, everything is pretty useless.

Service ticket MVZ-595-43011 (but disappeared/deleted in the ticketing system without providing a solution...???)

Deleting the device and re-adding ended up in the same situation.

Best Regards,

Tom

Did you put the device (when including) very close to the zipabox?

Yes, around 30cm.

This usually happens when a device is not included the right way.

Can you add other devices?

Unfortunately, I currently only have 2 other sensors. And this are 2 new Fibaro Smoke sensor FSG-002.

They do not work at all (somehow detected at exclusion / inclusion process but not able to complete the inclusion) with my outdated firmware and my Zipato tablet refuses to upgrade the firmware. Tablet is showing outdated firmware 0.9.999f and I tried to upgrade to 0.9.999.8 without success. I'm trying since days and nothing is working.

And Zipato support team is not reacting on my tickets.

You may want to search for "No endpoints" and look for the

'"No Endpoints" when adding Oregon sensors' thread...
