No Ethernet signal from Zipabox
Solved
Hello there,
I plugged the Zipabox to my routeur but I can't see it in the routeur manager. Furthermore, the light on the routeur port isn't visible (meaning nothing is plugged to it). I tried with another switch, still no signal.
I received the zipabox today and as soon as I start it the light appears steady green (no yellow, than blinking green light mentioned in the manual). The light is still green even if I don't plug it to the routeur T_T Could it be possible there is a hardware problem with the box??
Thank pour for your reply.

When this type of problem occurs please try next:
Before connecting Zipabox check your internet connection. If everything is alright with your internet connection then follow these steps:
1. Unplug power and Ethernet cable from your Zipabox
2. Wait 2 min.
3. First plug in Ethernet cable and then power supply.
4. Press and hold Button2 on your Zipabox and then briefly press (and release) Reset button.
5. Keep holding Button2 for 5 seconds (and then release it).
6. Then observe your LED sequence. If everything goes alright at the end there should be fixed green light from LED.
If this wont work It is obviously an hardware problem. It's a strange, as we are using Ethernet for software upload during the final production phase. If this is a case you should return your box to your supplier and take the new one...

The same problem for me
The same problem for me
Hello, the same problem for me. It's not only an hardware problem. There also be a network problem. Zipato woks only if I connect it directly to the router/modem. But if I use a modem in bridge mode (see here http://www.billion.uk.com/esupport/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/14/11/how-do-i-enable-half-bridge-mode-on-5200-series) zipato doesn't work. Zipato is the only device in my network that can't connect to the internet when I use bridge mode. Can you make tests in lab to conferm that?
