No status update of devices on my.zipato.com

Need Answer

Isn't the status (ex. Relay ON/OFF) supposed to update in the dashboard if I manual turn it ON/OFF on the device?

For me now I have to du a manual do a refresh of my browser to see any change in status.


I'm using Win7 and Chrome as browser

There are several other issues to, maybe the same root course.

Isn't Chrome supported as browser?

Chrome is fully supported but you probably have problem with router, firewall or proxy if you are using any. It could also be a problem with browser setup, windows firewall, antivirus. We are trying to reproduce your problem but without success.

Is there anything more then a standard internet connection I have to do for ZipaBox to work?

Open up ports or some other special setup?


I have internet working and no problem at all (more then with the zipabox)

Just a standard installation of windows and Apple AirPort...

I created a virtual machine in VMware with no Virusprotection and firewall...

Same problem as before, can't sync.

(that was with IE)


Normaly I use Win7, Chrome, MS FireWall and MS VirusProtection

Testing from my MacBook Pro with Safari

It is WORKING!!!

Can sync from MBP :-)


But still not from my ordinary Windows7 :-/

Have two machines connected to same WIFI


Machine 1 MBP

Safari - Sync OK

Chrome - Sync OK


Machine 2, Windows 7

Chrome - Sync NOT OK

I should have stay on Mac :-)

I works on my Mac, But not on the Windows 7 Machine :-(


Rules, Sync, Status update, it all works on the Mac!

From time to time I now have the same problem also on the mac.

can't sync!

So it is not something with my routers or firewall, they are the same all the time.


And it still not possible from my Windows machine :-(
