offline devices
Solved
Hello,
Since yesterday, and an unhappy
touch of the reset button on my Zipabox, hardly all of my devices are « offline »…
What can I do? Must I remove and add
again all of them?
Thanks for your help,
Benoit

After some period of time, if everything is fine with your network, each device of yours should send a "wake up" signal to the Zipabox. If this, doesn't happen, something is wrong with your network and this is not related with the reset of the Zipabox.

Hi again,
I realise that the « wakeup interval » was empty… what can I do now ? Start again the adding device for each offline devices?

What I noticed on my network, was that I had some problems with offline devices after a reset or update of Zipabox. But it was only a couple of modules and basically the same modules that gave me this problem every time.
What I did was exclude them and re-include them from their final installing position. This has solved my issues with offline devices. As I had previously included them conveniently from the same spot at the couch, it seems to me although the mesh-network should be able to cope with a module being offline, it does initially learn it's position in the mesh during inclusion (and adjusts transmittal power and modules to connect to) and doesn't learn afterwards anymore.
I'm not completely sure my assumptions about the mesh are entirely true, but at least for me it has solved my issues with offline devices completely.

Everything is working now… I will check and let you know if this happen again! Thanks a lot for your help & quick action!

Since yesterday evening I have a very similar problem. My 4 devices switched offline and i could not manage to get them online again. The zipabox is well online but I noticed She was offline for few minutes yesterday evening also.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi Zipato,
I have the same problem. Devices just go offline spontaniously and never come online again. First a wall-plug and now a door sensor. Zipato-box just doesn't respond to the device at all. As if it doesn't exist.
I re-added the wall plug and it appeared as new device, while it was already joined (so the same device was registered twice).
Regards,
Martin.
