Problem of initialization : I waited a long time and the light is not turned to steady green,

It stayed always green light flashing.

Of course, I checked my internet connection and the switch port.

What can I do ?

Thanks in advance

Guy

Steady green indicate that the Zipabox is connected to the cloud. Please, send the serial number of your zipabox to support@zipato.com, so we can check whether it is connected or not.

Hello Sebastian

As requested, I sent the serial number of my box by email to support@zipato.com.

I would like to add an important point about the time required after a reset in order that the green lamp flashes again; it is is extremely long (I timed; it is more 15 minutes), and not "approximately 2 minutes" as indicated in the quick installation guide.

I think something is wrong with this item, it does not work properly.

Is it possible to make a hard reset?

In advance, thank you for the instructions.

Best regards

Guy

I had the same problem which was not related to my Zipabox hardware as it went ok on another internet routeur. I guess this is more a problem of TCP/IP protocol as my zipabox has not been attributed an ip on my network. I'll try to configure it out on saturday.

Hello Laurent,

did you have solved the problem?

I've the same problem.

I'm using a FritzBox 6490 cable Router and a Netgear Ethernet Switch.

Best regards

I had the same problem. It was apparently due to the ethernet cable that came along with the zipabox. I changed this cable and it now works like a charm!

Did you try the above sequence?

And trying swapping the ethernet cable over, this can be a common problem

Contact support@zipato.com Your router may be blocking the port for the Zipabox and preventing access to the web.

Did you try plugging the Zipabox directly into the router without the switch and with a different cable.
